What Is Juvéderm®?
Juvéderm® is a collection of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers that are injected under the skin to address age-related volume loss, along with other signs of aging, such as:

What Happens During The Treatment?
The treatment is virtually painless and quick – each injection usually takes only a few minutes.
However, the procedure requires precision and accuracy and should only be performed by a highly skilled injector. Measured doses of chosen Juvéderm® filler will be injected into your skin using a very fine needle, significantly reducing the risk of swelling, bruising, and blood vessel damage.
Injections are followed by a gentle massage, which helps to distribute Juvéderm® evenly, resulting in a more natural and subtle look.
How Soon Can I See The Results?
You can see initial improvements such as fuller and smoother skin almost immediately after the procedure. Some people might also experience mild swelling and redness at the injection site, but the full results will kick in as soon as they subside on their own within a day or two.
Like other fillers, the results of Juvéderm® fillers are not permanent and can last anywhere between 6 to 18 months depending on the type of filler used. For example, Juvéderm® Ultra and Juvéderm® Volbella® can last for a year, whereas Juvéderm® Voluma® can last even longer.
Furthermore, if you don’t like the results, they can easily be reversed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Still, it is best to discuss your aesthetic concerns and goals well in advance with your provider to manage expectations.
