What To Expect During Treatment

It all begins with a thorough consultation. Dr. Chow or one of our trained providers will assess your skin, review your medical history, and develop a customized treatment plan. We’ll also advise you on how to prep your skin—which may include discontinuing certain topicals, avoiding sun exposure, and staying well-hydrated.
During
Depending on your plan (CoolPeel™ or Deka Pulse Co2), sessions typically last between 30 to 90 minutes. Topical numbing is used for comfort. CoolPeel™ is often described as a light tingling sensation, while deeper CO2 modes may feel warmer—but are highly tolerable with cooling technology.
After
CoolPeel™ patients typically experience minor redness—similar to a mild sunburn—that fades within a day or two. For Deka Pulse Co2, you can expect more noticeable redness and potential peeling over the next 5–7 days. In both cases, we’ll send you home with aftercare guidance to support healing and enhance results.
